1st Annual Bariatric Surgery Master Class

The entire country has been keenly observing the “media” face of the revolution involving obesity and diabetes surgery in our country. Though over 100 surgeons have already been trained in this super-specialty, most have not been able to carve a niche in this field.

Dr. Ramen Goel has been able to achieve a unique record of nine consecutive mortality free years despite large number of bariatric procedures and operating on some of the heaviest patients. This was possible by following an evolved and tested regimen of surgical steps and
follow-up protocols. He believes “Surgical Excellence” comes through triage planning and execution of simplified steps along with personal patient care.

To share this method of bariatric care, we at Nova Specialty Surgery are initiating launching dedicated bariatric surgical training programs (Nova Bariatric Master Class) for our surgical colleagues and their team members which will help them understand and deliver care in this surgical specialty.

Dr. Ramen Goel and the Anaesthesia team of Nova Specialty Surgery have worked hard to develop short stay bariatric surgery therefore, at the 1st Nova Bariatric Master Class, we have intentionally kept a format that can help you learn the A to Z of this procedure. The faculty has been carefully chosen and will also be available for mentoring on site, if required.

We intend to keep advanced training programs on Gastric Bypass and Metabolic Surgeries in the near future as a follow-up for participants of this meeting.
